I took these photos when I took a short train trip from Chicago to Detroit
in January 2003. I saw a couple of great train stations along the way.

Here's the Kalamazoo
station, which is even older than the Niles station.

We passed P-42 engine 36 between
Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. This was probably Michigan Services train 351, heading
westbound for Chicago.

Battle Creek GT depot, no longer being used for passenger trains. Battle Creek has a
newer Amtrak station.
